beit byout is a children's drama and crafts program that offers a series of workshops devoted to the educational, creative, and social development of children, targeting those coming from an Arabic background.

The main goal of beit byout is to give children a space where they can create their own artistic spaces and express themselves through drama, games, puppet-making, crafts, storytelling, singing, and even snack making (we will cook together healthy snacks and food, some of them related to their own cultures).

All activities are aimed to strengthen their knowledge of Arabic vocabulary and culture using fun ways as effective educational tools.

Why drama:

Drama is an effective tool for teaching language skills. It helps to enrich the child’s vocabulary and language skills through creating actual life and imaginary situations. Drama exercises assigns roles to the kids which will help enrich their creative thinking, build their self confidence and the ability to make decisions. Drama will help the child communicate well with the group in Arabic, as well as develop personal and social skills.
